Recovering old email typically involves opening an archived mailbox. Archiving your emails lets you keep the most recent and relevant emails in your Inbox. Archiving can be done on a set schedule to keep your mailbox at a manageable size. When recovering old emails, you must know how to access the archived mail. This involves locating the archived email's location or finding the archived email folder on your computer or server.
